Final Fantasy Thief?

I just want to ask if anyone has ever made or is working on a Final Fantasy fan mission. Huh? Huh? Huh? :D

Okay, I’m a big FF7 and Thief fan, and I really, really, really want to see one made. I’d love to play as Cloud or Zack or Sephy. :o Unfortunately, I don’t know anything about making missions. Would someone/a team be interested in making it? :D

And in the end you'd have to defeat Sephiroth with your sword, playing as Cloud ofc ;D

I've never liked Final Fantasy style games for some reason. I don't mind the artwork, it's the gameplay mechanics that bother me...

There's been a few FM's that tip the hat to FPS games like Half-Life and the RPG elements of Gothic.

But do you really think the color palette, mood, and style of Thief and Final Fantasy are compatible? I would sooner think of a Deer Hunter mod for Baldur's Gate. I doubt the Dark Engine, in all its glory, could even remotely suggest the world, let alone gameplay of Final Fantasy.
