This could of been the day!

So June 19th could of been the day we would of played the new batman game well for us in the UK not too sure about the North America but now we are going to get a better batman game then what we would of got today.
But the reason I did this thread was to ask what would of you done if you got the game today would you stay home from work/college/school or would you of waited to get home to play it?

I'm glad though they gave it one last polishing. I wouldn't mind waiting a few more months for a polish, but I just wish the demo would be out by now. Though patience....patience is the key...

As preview did say before the delay the game looked perfect to them. but the main thing is we'll be playing a better batman game than we would have been playing today. If i had the game today i wouldve rung in sick tomorrow morning for work.

I honestly do believe that this game will rise Rocksteady into prominence. It looks absolutely fantastic, and it will establish them as top-tier developers within months. For a small British team, they have focus, talent, and the ability to produce AAA titles. I think this will be their "Square Enix" moment, and it will change how we all look at the potential of superhero games.

Rocksteady may be the team to pull it off, if Arkham is successful.

I would love a free-roaming Gotham City game, and I think Rocksteady should develop it. If all goes well with Arkham's release, they should take a well-deserved break and decide whether or not they want to collaborate with DC to create more titles in the Batman universe.

If it were out today, I'd have to wait til my vacation is over to play it. Also, I like my games to have some polish, I think it shows that the developers really care about the game.

If the game came out today I'd have taken a vacation day. Instead I'm stuck at work passing the time by readig threads on the forum. Fun...but not as fun as playing the game.

I think the wait will be worthwile. It'll be nice to play a finely polished version.

Well then it could be said that the yesterday was the day we could have played or the day before that or the day even before that. All the release dates you saw posted on sites werent official release dates, they were tactics to get you to run in and preorder with them cause the day was looming closer and closer. You want a reason better than "polishing" how bout that. The official release date, straight from the publisher/developers mouth is Aug. 25th. When then date comes and goes and we get no game, then we can have this decusions.

As for the answer to your second question. I would and still am taking the week off of work.

Due to their emoltional nd other affection's for the game, induvidual's may indicate that, not it is not just economical reason's, but to satisfy customer's with 200% effort that they are donating toward's this game.

what sucks is that had it come out now,I'd be able to play it through summer break.The irony is that it comes out at midnight on my first day of school.However,on a positive note,where it may have taken me a week to beat it on break,it(the delay) may have given me more hours of gameplay from Arkham.

sorry i should of said if the game was polish and 100% done the day it came out and didnt need to be delayed.
