I own Batman Year One and The Killiing Joke (hardcover) and I am getting Hush Vol 1 and 2, The Dark Knight Returns, and The Black Glove, but where do I start with the storyline of Batman RIP? And is it good enough, worthy for a purchase? What other comics (either than abovementioned) are good?

To enjoy Batman R.I.P its best to have read "Batman and Son" and "The Black Glove" which you own. =p

I think that it could have been better but I liked it. you still need to get The Long Halloween,Dark Victory, The Joker, the knightfall saga, The devil's advocate, the man who laughs and maybe No man's land saga and Batman Venom.

I enjoyed Scarecrow and Two-Face Year One, not relevant to the subject just a good book. also like Harley Quinn: Preludes and Knock-Knock Jokes. I'm the guy that looks for lost books and finds them to be good.

RIP is good, but to follow up on the ending as it is collected in the TPB with the Last Rites Issues, you also need to get the Final Crisis TPB out next week I think. Well, you don`t have to of course, but you will be left wondering what`s gonna happen next if you don`t.

Some other random recommendations:

Batman and the Monster men
Batman and the Mad Munk
Strange Apparitions
Batman in the 70s
Heart of Hush
Private Casebook

I don't think the whole Final Crisis is needed, especially if you only read Batman and not DC Comics in general.

No, it is not needed, but the uninitiated will probably wonder WTF? when they read the Last Rites issues of the TPB. I say these would have been better collected in the Final Crisis companion and not the RIP TPB.
