Need help with the tank

In the mission to locate Ramirez when the tank comes out from a small door(when you have planted the C4 on the door). Enyone knowes how to defeate it or go around it? I've tried blowing the tank up with 3 rockets but nothing happens to it. And I die when waiting for the door to explode.

It's in the military compound where the helicopter is blown up in the middle
