I read the preview on the G4TV e3 page. I have high hopes for this MMO.

what do you think? Will it be good? or will it just be City of Heros with a pretty paintjob?

Im sad and not impressed so far it looks like ps2 graphics....and the moves ar enot very fluid....However the multiplayer looks better than anything marvel has produced.

Yeah! i really want the game to be good! i love a good MMO and this has been something i have wanted for a while. i just hope they dont drop the ball and make it suck

it's due out,i believe in spring/summer 08,and there was an e3 trailer for it,but that was about it.also,it seems that some character designs have changed significantly(i.e.the joker no longer looks like a charicature,i think it will be an awesome game,but it would be better if you could actually play as Batman,Superman,etc.

I have high hopes for this game. A lot of you said this game was PS2 graphics, but if you play the first Jak&Daxter and watch a DCU video, I want to see you say that again. I have high hopes like I said because from what I'm hearing it will be very actionish and very adventurous as an MMO. I've also seen a Tommy Gun, some Magical Spears, and some Kung-Fu action. Tell me again that this will suck. I think this game will come out great.

Yeah, very few MMO's ever reach the point where their graphics can be called "Adaquate". I have hopes for this game, but I really have the same empty feeling when I see an MMO I might be interested in.

What you should worry about MMOs is the fluidness of the animation. Because lately it seems all MMOs outside World of Warcraft got slow/boring animations compared to what does Blizzard does. >_> Its all about good animations in MMOs when it comes to enjoyable combat.

The animations so far are still choppy, they have a lot more work to do. I'll be playing Champions Online until it comes out. It was supposed to come out in Dec 08, then pushed to Feb 09 and now sometime 2010. I hope it will be good after a year + push back.

DCUO I'm PRAYING they get it right. :hmm: I hope they give it the Champions Online treatment and have a long Beta test even if it means the game wont be out till next summer. Get it right Sony where you haven't before.

The combat is MEANT to be simple because its on the PS3 as well. It makes a bit of a change of having less options because when I play MMOs especially I sometimes can't deside which power to pick because there's so many!

Get the custimazation and gameplay up and not so much the lore Sony as it already has been managed from what I've seen from trailers and such. Give it time and it will be a fantastic game which I look forward to playing. :cool:

they look the same except dcuo is shinier and has brighter colors.....I always expect more from ps just because they have slacked off in years past and now they can outdo xbox with titles like uncharted...assassins creed 2 and red dead redemption....so I guess I feel that every game now should have superior graphics or whats the point of producing newer systems....I'm only picky because I care...I already have my character and everything picked out...

Ha I think Darwing_Duck got owned and leave that sense of "humor" in you case at home, it's just creepy on so many levels. It sounds like you are trying to pick up women. If you want to pick up women go to a bar or whatnot and not be a computer creeper.
