I know from the demo footage they skipped at least 5mins worth a of cutscenes from the batmobile to meeting Gordan. Mainly because they didnt go down the elevator. I also believe that they used multiple parts of the game and patched it into one kinda like Fear's demos. Because if the forums are correct then the venom thug that most thought was admodoyla (however ya spell it) came too early. Your thoughts?
P.S "Stand back fool i gotta bomb! Oh right hehe..."

Yeah, they skipped the interactive part where you escort the Joker down to Gordon, because it had too many spoilers. The demo also had some parts out of sequence to avoid larger spoilers.

I was thinking it would be great if they released the demo Sefton was talking about on the day Batman:AA was suppose to come out before the delay
I know that they wont cuz its to early in advance .... but if it did it would have been a cool little nod to the fans ... you know saying "hey, we know your here .. thanks for sticking with us during the delay"
KEIR YOU SHOULD SUGGEST THIS ... WE'LL ALL BACK YOU :D

What interactive parts? Do you actually fight the Joker?

No. After you see the cutscene where Batman is driving the Joker to Arkham, there's an interactive opening in which you control Batman as the guards take the Joker down to the Intensive Treatment Ward. As you're walking, you meet Killer Croc (who tells you how much he wants to rip you apart before the guards haul him away) and a few thugs that are being tended to by medics.

The voice acting sucks? Are you serious? Mark Hamill? Kevin Conroy?
Wow...
(It's also a game, bud. He mostly talks to others, but many characters talk "out loud" for instruction purposes.)

Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy have lost their touch.
Joker sounds like hes been smoking for years and Batman just sounds like Kevin Conroy, not batman.

Mark Hamill sounds a bit darker, but it's still an incredible Joker voice. Conroy is ten years older, but I still love his Batman voice. You're being waaaayy too harsh.

No they dont.
If youre bothered enough to watch,
This is the Batman voice Kevin Conroy use to have- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rKK3_87rvrw
And this is it now- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bebf6I89sJQ (you have to watch into it a bit to hear Batman talk properly)
There is a big difference.

Other than the voice acting the game looks sick.
Also the animations are really nice, like when batman rips the vents off, it looks sick  haha

His voice is still the same as in Justice league, mostly It's a little softer in AA but it was softer as well in Vengence. Maybe he doesn't lend his voice to video games as well, he's said he's most comfotable working under Andrea Romano (DCAU voice director) because all the actors are in one room and get to play off of each other, and then the cartoon is made around that.
BAA is the opposite, the game was pretty much made and he did his voice work afterward. But I've seen Kevin talk in interviews and his voice in Arkham Asylum is far from sounding like "just Kevin Conroy." It still has the trademark saltiness and Batman tone. It works well enough for me.
Hamil's voice is pure awesome. He's older but still very entertaining.

Wait a sec, aren't you at least happy they got BOTH Conroy and Hamill in the game? I admit they do sound kinda off, but nowhere near the point to where the voices suck. That's just plain nitpicking, and I'm glad they were able to get both of these men to reprise their roles.

Spidey's voice in WOS made me wanna do this. :mad2: I almost prefer Tobey Maguire's VOs than WoS's nerdy, nasal Parker.

I think this is much more Batman than JL. JL always sounded a little... off to me. The voice work in this, however, sounds pretty much perfect. One thing I noticed was that Conroy speaks in a different tone when talking to a villain as opposed to when talking to an asylum guard. Methinks this is better than "menacing voice all the time." After all, when you're trying to help someone, it's important they don't think you'll eat them alive mid-sentence. You know? He wants to scare criminals, not the innocent.
Overall, I was pretty impressed with what I've seen of the E3 demo. I'm glad there are skylights to crash through, it just wouldn't be Batman if there weren't. XD
I thought the scene where Batman's crawling through the vent and he's helpless to save those two guards was pretty dark; while I do love the dark Batman stories, I certainly wasn't expecting it.
I wished there could've been more gadgets seen in the demo, though. Maybe we'll get a new trailer showing them off sometime.
