I've heard it and the sound quality is pretty bad (loads of background noise). Some of the hiss has been removed but it still sounds pretty bad - I'll take it home and see if I can reduce the hiss further (I have Cubase 4 and some cool EQ and mastering plug-ins).

The long and the short of it is... you guys will get it next week one way or another :)

No problem. I don't think any of us are impatient at all. I just wanted to ensure that nothing bad happened, like someone deleting the interview because the sound quality was determined to be too bad. I wish you the best with attempting to correct the sound issues.

or, what we had to do RARELY in radio.

you submit the actual tape AND list of same questions to paul dini, and have him either record them , and send in his answers, or leave them on someones voice mail where they can be retrieved.

then you can edit question & answer together, and easily explain what happened.

we had to do that with a bruce ****inson ( iron maiden's legendary frontman ) interview ; and he was a good person and was more than happy to do it.

OK - update, I've just been told that due to a passing mention of Heath Ledger it has been escalated to the highest level approval at DC or Warner. This approval person is so important he's just under God. We should hear back soon whether it's OK. If it's not we'll just chop that bit. Not long to go now.

You'll be pleased to hear that I visited Rocksteady with mycoldman this morning and he recorded the next podcast with none other than... you guessed it.. Paul Crocker! Paul is a top bloke. It's a really good podcast, about 35 mins long and he answers some questions from the forum and such. That'll be live with in the next couple of weeks.
