I decided to read this again and i think it was marketing reasons that caused the delay for the game read the 3rd & 4th paragraph and you'll see what i mean. This also could hint at a release date in August, 4 months after 9th April.

I think alot of it was marketing, but mostly how the game was being developed. I think they realized the potential of this game if they just made the combat alittle bit more fluid. The story and stealth aspect were already gonna be great. Stealth is about level design, story is gonna be great no matter what the rest of the game plays out like.

So it benefited both. Get more advertising cause honestly not a whole lot of people knew about this game until recently, and make the combat alittle bit more skilled to give it that edge over other button mashers or even Wolverine Origins.

I too agree it's all a marketing strategy especially for people who are on the fence about this game to try it at E3.

Yeah and it was either release a week or two before E3 or alittle after, and miss all that marketing power. However, the delay benefited the game just as much as the marketing.

im all for the delay if it helps rocksteady and eidos make a tonne of money.more chance of a sequel

So Arkham Asylum will be getting the TDK campaign treatment(minus the virals)... Nice.

It'll be worth it. I was upset at first like we all were, but I'm confident this will be one of the best games of this year. I am confident in Rocksteady and Eidos to put forth what all us Bat-fans have been waiting for. I know this will be a successful game, and DC should really give RS and Eidos the contract for licensing their games. It'll give Rocksteady/Eidos more exposure and more credibility once BAA is a hit.
