I Dont Read The Comics (Questions About The Game)

So I have never read any of the comics ... I have 2 questions

Do you think I will have trouble understanding the game (like do you think you need to know the history of the comics to understand the game)??

I really wanted (to try) to solve all the riddles on my own without any help from the internet or guides ... do you think with lack of knowledge of the comics this would be impossible??

I dont know, but some of the previews have said some riddles require knowledge to solve some riddles But i dont think you need much knowledge from the comics. It would be ideal though

i think you should be fine as long as you know the characters,but if you read the comics you might enjoy some of the little nods.Here's 5 that I recommend:Arkham Asylum:A Serious House on a Serious Earth,Batman:Year One,Batman:The Long Halloween,Joker,and Batman:Hush.There is also,a great graphic novel called Arkham Asylum:Living Hell.Hush as of now has 2 volumes,but in August(I believe)they are releasing a complete edition.

Hey is there any site where i can read the novels??? Cuz my library sucks and i dont wanna run through every book store an hour away to find the books.

I haven't read the comics but know most of the stuff thanks to what people have told me and wikipedia.
But I'm going graphic novel shopping on tuesday.

A true Batman fan would have at least read a few comics in their day. You can't live on Batman just how he is portrayed in the movies or the cartoons.If you truly love Batman, you'll check out the comics. Even if you don't know where to begin, check these out: Batman: Year One, Year Two, A Serious House on a Serious Earth, Joker, The Killing Joke, the Dark Knight Returns, etc. If you want more information send me a PM

I mean ya know if ur a fan of Batman in general and u saw the movies and the animated series by Bruce Timm, u prob will b ok.
