What do you guys think? I think it looks cooler like this, but makes no sense.

Its the same in the comics, you could just say "Oh he just holds the cloak on his hand" But really this is how its always portrayed in comics and movies. :) As much as Batman always appearing out of nowhere.

Yeah I don't think Batman would have the same effect if when he hangs up side down his cape hangs down it might cover his face lol

Speaking of cape effects in one of the videos i'm not sure with one batman creeps up on a thug and grabs him from behind and his cape looks like it goes round the guy while batmans holding him and it looks vampireish its quite cool

I hope we get to see a lot of Batman covering himself in the front with the cape when sneaking up on thugs. The front is always open in the videos, but that's his signature as well, not revealing himself under the cape until it's necessary.

You can clearly see his arms tucked back, to hold the cape.

Yeah, you're right he holds it with his arms. If you remeber watching the x play video part 2 he does the same and when he grabs his enemy his cape falls onto the enemy and he grabs them up. http://forums.eidosgames.com/showthread.php?t=88853 watch the x play video part 2 from 1:03 - 1:10

If you watched the movie BATMAN BEGINS, then you would know that the cape (engineered by Lucious Fox ) is made of a superconductive material that automatically rises and sticks to batman's gloves. This also explains how batman can use the cape stun ability- the material administers a small shock when it makes contact with another conductor (A.K.A, and unprotected thug' body).
Does this make Sense?

In Nolans universe it makes perfect sense.

It would if this were a game based on Nolan's Batman Begins and The Dark Knight universe :p Read all the posts in a thread, is my advice. Covered: this is not Batman from Batman Begins, but Batman from the comics. Batman in the comics is not using the same cape technology drummed up in Batman Begins. It's just a cape in the comics.

People who say things like that are just retarded, think about it for a second, if you were hanging upside down waiting for someone you would hold your cape or find a way to keep it up.

Like the person who showed the pics. His hands are holding it. Why do you think when you do an inverted takedown, the cape wraps around them ?

At primary school, the girls always used to tuck their skirts into their underpants when they were hanging upside down on the jungle gyms. Maybe Batman does something similar ;)
