yeahh, they reckon they have had a dude completely devoted to the cape
dont get me wrong, it moves beautifully but the clipping is a lil lame :/

...I was exaggerating.

Seriously, the cape clipping has been near non-existent in the recent footage. I'm more concerned with how the cape is animated more so than if objects move through it at times.

The time it spends not going through Batman/Inmates/etc. is a lot more than the time it does go through them.

my only complaint is that the demo isnt available online... or anywhere remotely NEAR where I would be able to play it. Seriously..who releases a demo to certain stores and not online these days??

I actually haven't heard a proper answer to that question Iron; maybe overexposure is something they want to avoid. Right now, the mere demo is coveted by many, let alone the game. If it was readily available, maybe that would lessen the final game's impact.

Still want that downloadable demo though :/

It's sad that with a game as awesome as Arkham Asylum there is even a need for a complaint thread for something as small as a delay. Welcome to the real world, delays happen, your gonna have to get used to it.

Oh, and I hate the smoke/sparks that come out of people's bodies when Batman hits them, and I hate how the camera zooms in on the last person that you beat up in a group of thugs.

watch the difference between him running n walking, his head n shoulders dont change position
n iunno bout you guys but i dont hav the same posture running as i do walking

The smoke/sparks are only visible for a split second though. I would think the most bothersome effect would be the golden trails left by Batman's hands and feet (that I hated). Thankfully they changed that to the cooler black effect.

And the final camera zoom is seriously awesome; it's the last guy, so any change of speed won't affect your fighting.

I would appreciate an option to toggle all of this off though; while it doesn't bother me, I would want such a thing.

Very useful thread, I have to say. My only problem is that people complain that Tweedledee and Tweedledum are going to suck as villains. They are the top goons for hire in Gotham, they are fat and are based on colorful characters, how can you not like them? If I remember correctly, don't they bounce around? How is that not cool?

Is this a complaint thread or a thread where we raise trivial complaints and then spam/flame for the second half? o.O Be thankful that there most likely won't be as many glitches as Fallout 3 DLC. Unless you're going to have your eyes close to the screen in order to look at every minor error, why should slight clipping matter? No engine is completely, utterly perfect. Hell, even Crysis had visual issues at times.

Yes, clipping would suck, but I'd rather have clipping that only appears at times than a game-breaking error or slowdown, neither of which I've seen in the game thus far.
