I am fortunate enough to have both 360 and PS3, and my question is which one would you get. The one with Joker or the without. they seem to be showcasing the PS3 version more, so that is the direction I am leading.

How can it be better on one console than the other? It's the same exact game, just with the Joker.

I'm getting the 360 version.

I'm wondering how it's possible, unless Sony really do have an agreement with Eidos, which seems to be being shown with the exclusive Joker maps, the hybrid disc possibly and maybe better graphics for the PS3 version. But if they do that I'll be pissed.

I'm getting it for PS3 just because I own that system and a Wii...and I'm stoked to have the possibility of playing as the Joker.

Even if they did make this game for Wii, I almost always buy a game for the PS3 if it's multi-platform.

Actually, I've played the demo on PS3 twice. And then I've watched the HD version of the Freeflow combat system which is being showcased on 360. To me, the 360's graphics look much better.

And as I've only got the 360 and the chances that all of the extra content will most likely become available for it as well, I don't have any intention of switching or shelling out money for the PS3 this late in the current gen age. From the sounds of it, not too many people have been happy with the lack of content on PS3 anyway... so, I'm over it. Oh, and I don't like PS3's controls very much. Too clunky.

You must remember this also, for videos that are released by the producers of the game are ussually polished in some extent, or certain scenes are cut to make the video more appealing towards the consumer, for example : cutting out scenes when the cape was clipping(just a random reason). Oh and the dlc going over to the 360 might not be likely since Eidos had an agreement with sony to keep content exclusive, thus if bronken the might pay, a price, get sued, or whatever.

As I don't have a ps3 I'm getting it on xbox 360. To be honest it doesn't matter it's gonna be exactly the same on either console I don't know why people would think one is better than the other, I've seen this time and time again on multi console releases games people saying one is better than the other when there not just seems silly I mean whats it matter aslong as you have a console to play it on.

The TVs at GameStop, EB Games, etc. always make games look like crap.

I played Uncharted at EB Games, and it looked worse than Haze.

Then I downloaded the demo at my house, and it's still the best looking game I've ever seen.

jesus why arent these threads locked straight away,

all they do is lead to console wars.

they look identical on both systems apart from you get joker on ps3.saying it will be better on one system over the other is very dilusional

I recommend getting on the PS3 since we know for sure that Joker will be on it and we are uncertain that it will be on Xbox, personally I don't see any difference in the game graphic wise and even if there is it wouldn't be by much so my vote goes to the PS3.

Can't wait for this game:)

I got a 360 on launch and was fortunate enough to get almost 18months out of it before I got the ring of death.

I then went through 3 consoles in 1 week and the 4th one didn't die within 2 days!

I got a PS3 about a year after the release in AU.

I had about 40 games for my 360 when I purchased the PS3 and still had about 50 PS2 games.

I upgraded my TV when I got my 360 and was impressed. I knew it could be better though, as the TV had HDMI, but it was only running through component.

I know most of the games are done in 720p for both consoles anyway... but when I got my PS3 and plugged that bad boy in via HDMI... I couldn't go back to the PS2 or 360.

I pretty much got rid of most of my games for PS3 titles and leave my 360 at my parents place for my younger brothers to use.

I know you can get HDMI 360's these days, but I was turned off by the fact that the 360's first release was not a next gen console, it didn't have HDMI and didn't have a HD drive inside (which is why they lost the format war!).

Because of this, I'd go for PS3! Even if people say they look the same, in my mind, the PS3 will always look sharper.

Perception is a crazy thing!!! :nut:

Im going to get it for ps3 but im going to state some facts ive read about:

1. the ps3 is the lead console this game was developed on
2. apparently one of the guys who developed this game said the graphics for the ps3 looked better becuz of the core processor
3. ive read nothinng about this becoming dlc for xbox 360 (sorry it just doent seem likely for sony to just let that happen)

and xbox 360 will probably get some dlc that isnt joker but it will probably be some other villain (that wasn't a fact thats just what i think)

I don't understand why they'd favour one system to another. The only other game that that's happened to recently was Ghostbusters, and unless Sony has bought the game then I can see it being exactly the same.

There are challenge missions where you play as the Joker in the PS3 version.. However, these are only challenge missions and likely not as exciting as some people will lead you to believe. It's also more than likely the 360 will get them eventually as well.

That being said, I'm getting the PS3 version, mainly because it was so much cheaper when GAME put it up (and they won't boost the price up once you've already ordered). So I've got the collectors edition for only £40 :)

Xbox 360

First off, I own both a PS3 and a 360 (and the Wii Letdown, if you must know).

Secondly, for all those who say the game runs better on the PS3, remember all those gameplay videos you drooled over? The Silent Knight challenge rooms, the X-Play footage, etc? They were all being played on the 360.

But to be honest, I'm only getting it for Xbox because I have too many PS games and way to little Xbox games, so da Box needs some lovin' too!:nut:

Hi Guys & Gals

That's easy I'm getting Batman Arkham Asylum on both my Xbox 360 and PS3.

I only recently got a PS3 I got it mostly for Blu Ray but I'm getting it for the PS3 as well for the simple reason I haven't got too many games for it and I want a game or two that I have on both systems so I'm comfortable playing and that I know the lay of the land of if you know what I mean.

+ my parents have a cottage and I only have a Xbox 360 for their so after going through it on the Xbox 360 I'll take it and leave it down their cause I'll have a PS3 copy at home and they're both the Collector's Editions so I'll have the bonus disks at both + I've made my newphews superhero nuts like me so it's nice to have a copy at either house for them to play with (lol).

Thank god I’ve had a lot of part time work recently it’s nice to be getting both Collector’s Editions and for separate consoles.
