How do you throw weights?

I'm on Playstation 3 and am having difficulty working out how to throw weights. Can anyone help please?

on pc it's the same button as throwing the sticky grenades. If I'm correct, it should be R1.

If l recall you throw weights the same way as you throw a grenade, if she has something in her hand already she will throw it, if not she will throw a grenade.
