Does anyone remember this game? I was just playing it, and it sucks mightily. However, I gotta say that the storyline and the cutscenes were FABULOUS for a 2003 game. Hell, they would still look pretty nice today.

Yeah, I remember that horrible, horrible game. And aren't the cut-scenes CGI?

Oh, so you're the judge?

I'm free to discuss this game. If you had bothered to read the OP instead of offering a weak response, you would know that we were discussing the game as a whole, too.

Yes, the cutscenes were great, but there's also the story and whether or not its ambitious nature could be mirrored by other Batman titles.

So you seriously wanted to discuss the game that got Electronic Magazine's Worst Game of the Year Award which by the way didn't exist until BDT's review? Yes I read the original post. Great side comment, horrible thread topic. Here's the link to the cutscenes. Let's at least make this interesting:

^Totally remember the game. In FACT, this was the main reason I bought the Game Cube. There was a great trailer that totally had me pumped for the game. That was like 3 years before the game actually came out... I was so pissed with the results.

I think the story was just great, and the cut scenes seemed pretty good for the time, but the game play was just awful. It was riddled (oh, and the lack there of the Riddler) with terrible camera moves and a sorry excuse for any detective work.

Still, it's a precursor to what we are getting here with AA and it deserves to be recognized as a step in the direction that I'm sure the devs would have liked to have achieved with DT.

It also baffled me that they included Robin and the second Batgirl, but they never really showed them.

They did show them. They just weren't part of the gameplay.
