Hi everybody
I'm a big Tomb Raider fan, and I finally got Underworld yesterday for the pc.
Unfortunately when I doubleclick the shortcut the screen goes black, and 2 seconds later I get 'Tomb Raider Underworld has encountered an error and needs to close' and I get booted back to my desktop.
(I do was able to adapt my settings the first time I tried to run TR)
I have already:
Installed the 1.1 patch
Updated my video card drivers to february 2009 version
Updated my audio drivers (even though the newest version is 5 years old <_>)
Closed all programs running in the background (no firewall or antivirus installed on my system)
I have messed around in the registry and turned all graphic settings to the lowest.
Reinstalling didn't work aswell. The disc is clean.
I never had this problem with any other game and I'm going nuts here, been googeling for this problem for hours and no-one seems to have this exact problem.
PC Specs:
Amd Athlon 64 3200+
Asrock K8Upgrade 760GX
1,5 GB DDR SDRAM
120GB IDE Maxtor HDD
Geforce 7600GT 256mb
Windows XP SP2
And here is my Tomb Raider diag:
<removed by TC>
I really hope anyone here can help me. :o
Thanks in advance for any replies!
<<edited the topic, I returned the game after not being able to play after 3 days of trying.>>
