Collector's Edition?

I was on Gamestop's website and was reading the spec.s on the CE extras:
Waynetech Batarang Storage Box

Personally I can live without everything other then the game, manual, and Exclusive DLC map. I really want the map, but is it really worth an extra $40?:mad2:

I'm willing to bet the code need for the DLC is not dedicated, and therefore could just be found on the Internet.

I was in the same dillema and here is my thinking:
The batarang would be cool to look at, but I wouldn't drool over it, it's worth ten bucks
DVD- I would never watch it
Book- it's cool, bit I'm not a big batman fan- 5 bucks
Dlc- what I really want- 5 bucks(remember, it's just one challenge map)

So in total, I think it's worth 80
So I would say no, don't get it
You will already have 16 challenge maps - 17 if you preorder from gamestop

I just want the game itself, the DLC and the DVD interviews with Mark Hammil. Like someone already stated before, they should definately have mix and match collector's edition.

It's the one I wanted(actually I wanted one with dlc and book, but DVD is classic limited edition stuff)
I basically took how they made fallout 3
There was normal, limited (game, DVD, idk what else) and survival(tin box, bobblehead, game, DVD, and whatever else was in limited)

By "don't have a name" I meant I don't have a name to give it. I suppose it could be the limited edition, then the other could be "Crimestopper" or something

Im sure someone will post the interviews of Mark Hammil on youtube so problem solved.

there are two different dlcs
One comes with the collectors edition
The other you get by preordering from gamestop

So there are 18 challenge maps in total

I share your exact views on all of the additional items... and if I can just get the extra map by preordering from Gamesop (its all I REALLYT want) it would be perfect

But you can only get the crime alley map by getting the CE

Not knowing about a CE release is very different from not getting it at all. One of the site mods posted in another topic, telling us that the UK CE will be announced soon.

Whether that means we're getting the same one as the US, or simply a steel case version of the game remains to be seen, but we're almost certainly getting a CE of some kind.

German CE reveals a picture of the Crime Alley (or well atleast to me) and shows that either the CE Map is called "Top Secret" as in: some secret area of Arkham or its simply just not being revealed to the public at all.

Also the costume you get from pre-order is called: Armored Batsuit, makes me wonder in whatway, is this some full bodysuit like Knightfall's Jean-Paul costume?
