From the latest information, it is possible that this can be the batman game we fans have been waiting for. However from my experience with games like GTA 4 or Spider-man games , I am worried about the pc version of B:AA. I just hope it's not a slopy port like the above mentioned games. Also from my past experiences, I have seen even though a game is well-optimized it seems to prefer different cards (eg. Crysis which prefers Nvidia cards most of the time), or different processors (like amd or intel). I stilll hope that this does not happen with Arkham Asylum. If the developers want some time , they can delay the pc version for polishing but please don't give us the pc gamers an unoptimized port of Arkham Asylum.

Those of u are worried about the pc version, please express your concerns here .The purpose of this thread is to try to prevent an unoptimized port of the game, especially for the pc version.

I'll be buying this for my comp, too, and pretty much have the same concern's as you, Stealth. I'll be unimpressed if we get an awful port.

Thing about PC's today though Stealth is that I think with tech getting improved over the year's, the majority of PC's have upgraded to use Nvidea and such like that - More powerful machine's with advanced rig's.

IT's true. Do u guys have any info. on the requirement of the game, because that might give us some insight regarding it's optimization?

the PC version is going to be the best :) course it depends on your graphics card, but I can't wait to see the graphics of this game on my computer :nut:

The game is using Unreal Engine 3, which means it will support a fairly wide range of different powered rigs. Take Mirror's Edge for instance, its a UE3 game too. I'm running it on a Q6600, 4 gigs of RAM and a GeForce 8600 GTS (which is not that good at all) @ 1680x1050 (native res of my screen) with all details on High, and it runs at a steady 30+ fps. At a lower resolution and medium details, you could easily get away with a core2duo (probably even a good single core cpu), 2 gigs of RAM and a 7 series GeForce card. And they were using a different lighting engine and showing huge open spaces, so my guess is Batman: AA will be less of a burden on your PC.

I'm not concerned about bad porting. Unlike GTA 4, this game is multiplat from the start and (my guess) is being developed on the PC to be ported to the consoles.
