MEDITERRANEAN SEA - PART 2: NIFLHEIM - Lever won't budge!

What am I doing wrong? I've pulled the middle lever, watched the cut scene with the kraken, pulled the lever on the right, grappled the thing in the wall, made the wall collapse, pulled that lever. Now, back on the other side, I get to the top, grapple the gear, pull it out from the wall, but when she goes to pull THAT lever it WON'T BUDGE! Am I supposed to do something else before I pull that lever? I can't figure out won't this lever won't budge, I think it's a bug or something, I've read the walkthrough's and done what I thought I was supposed to do, but still, can't pull the lever! HELP PLEASE!!!:confused:

G'day and Welcome to the forum. Are any parts of the Kracken wrapped around any of the gears still?

Yes, he's supposed to unwrap his tentacle after I pull the lever, according to all the walkthroughs at least! I pulled the lever in the other room and that's when it unwrapped itself!

I had this issue,but solved it,stand next to the lever as described and make sure you have pulled the cog out as far as it can,sometimes it does not fully pull out cog,once you have done this,the switch will work :)

I've pulled that cog from every angle imaginable and looked and looked again, it is out all the way! The lever still won't budge and when I try to pull the cog AGAIN, she just shakes her head "no". Nothing is working!!! HELP!:confused:

Let me see, you did use the switch to raise the spiked thing higher, didn't you? If you done it, notice there are two bloken rings in the chains on left and right. Like this:

That's the problem! Of the 2 switches I'm supposed to pull she only pulls one, the other one won't budge, therefore the chain is not snapped as shown in the picture. I can't even save my game on either blank memory card that I have. I'm returning it to get the PC version! I'm just fed up already and I just started!:(

Ok what i forgot to mention in my other post,is that i restarted from a save point as i think this is a bug,and when i went to that switch i pulled the wheel out and the lever worked,i seem to rememebr the first time i went to this switch i pulled it out and the switch did not work,so i suggest you try that,hope that helps
