I had this thread running years ago in teh Ion Storm forums, so I though it might be time for a resurrection.
JC Denton is a fountain of badass one-liners (not even gonna consider the whining brat in DX:IW). What's your favourite one?
I'll go first:
Bob Page is giving his final speech about ruling the world, saying he will merge with Helios and "burn like the brightest star!"
...to which JC retorts:
"You're gonna burn all right..."
Priceless.

JC Denton: "What a shame."
I always liked JC's lame attempt to haggle with Smuggler:
"Gimme a break! Millions of lives are at stake."
"I like what you're doing, but I have to cover my costs."
It's an incredibly efficient piece of character development.
Of course JC's no good at haggling, why should he be, he's a field agent for crying out loud. Smuggler's response was just good enough, too. You get the feeling that the struggle against evil is being waged by many people throughout the world, not just JC; and not just by Silhouette and Tracer Tong, but by many others that you never meet (like Erin, Decker and Young). Smuggler has probably personally met Erin, Decker, and Young, maybe even supplied them. If he gives away his entire inventory to JC he'll have to close up shop. And even from a completely altruistic point of view, Smuggler has no idea (in advance) of who's actually going to take down MJ12 --- he has to "hedge his bets" and keep the supplies flowing to as many of MJ12's enemies as he can, while staying alive. You really do appreciate Smuggler's position, and feel bad if you get the message later that he died, which is a heck of an accomplishment if you consider how little screen time he gets and how little he actually says.
If you don't consider this example to be one of JC's "one-liners", here's a favorite of mine:
"A forgotten virtue like honesty is worth at least twenty credits."
