I am at that stage in the Xibalba level where I make a run for the exit...

Is it tough to do?

No, it's not hard. I didn't even hurry to make it.

I do not think it is so hard. If you position the bike near where you exit the second calendar, facing the right direction, then you should be able to get to the calendar fairly easily if you drive at a 'decent' speed (not too fast so that you make mistakes, and not too slow so that you miss out on the timer). I think if you miss it the distance from the first calendar (which resets when the gate closes) to the middle is not quite as long.

Actually the game glitches on PS3 made this too easy for me, because on my third attempt, I crashed into the spike pit and died, but when it reloaded I was AHEAD of the spike pit, still with the bike, and the clock was still running, PLUS I think that this had even given me an extra few seconds. So I just kept going to the ballcourt and got there in plenty of time. So hey, if you just can't legitimately do it fast enough, try killing Lara in the spike pit. But you do so at your own risk, because this might invoke the other glitch on this level that you lose the bike on the wrong side of the pit, and you're then stranded forever unless you restart the level.

I once passed through the gate barely closed, had a black screen instead of the short cutscene, and when I could see again Lara was still alive. But the bike fell into the spike pit :p
