Just started out on Underworld. It seems that when Lara is in the first non swimming under water section she gets a little skatey!

When I was picking up the weights, the weights and her start doing weird levitating tricks together. Where Lara puts the weight down (intentionally on my part); Lara then levitates on top of the block and both her and the block go for a quick slide about.

Now I am willing to give TRU a try since no reviews on the internet metion this dodgy physics, except one on amazon that says the game can "run in slow motion and was very juddery", this same review complains "that there can sometimes be a complete faulty batch".

Is this true? are some batches of TRU faulty? Are the real game physics better than what I have described?

This is very upsetting since the graphics are awesome :thumb: and my computer can handle the game: it is rated at 5.9 on the windows VISTA scale with TRU recommended at 3.0.

Hey! :)

Things normal in TRU: trying to kick a vase but instead land on top of it :o

Not normal (in my view): what you have described

There is a pc patch for TRU, do you have it? :hmm:

Moved this to technical forum. :)

Hmm, that is odd  Could you post your DXDiag?

I bought this game at weekend,i had the slow gfx when you first have to use weights near dragons head, but the slow down has now gone,i only get lara end up on top of weights if you just drop them,if i crouch to put weights down everything is fine,so maybe it just a script error,im using nvidia 8800ultra overclocked, but aprt from that and the occasional weird camera view, which has always been present in tomb raider my game is now fine,i have patch installed,i do wonder if this is a Vista bug,i will install it on my other HD as i have a dual boot PC,so will see if it happens on XP Drive and post findings here :thumb:
