TTLG has been down for days and there is no telling when it's going to be back up. I have been stuck on The Mirror all weekend. Maybe we really should start visiting this forum a lot more often now. TTLG seems to be going down quite a bit lately and this forum is always up.
In The Mirror, I have entered the mansion and used the code to open the safe to get the lab key. I also got a red key that I have no idea where to use it. I went down into the lab and tried to grab the mirror but a clown's face showed on the mirror and the mission ended as failed. I heard that I need to shut down the power somehow but I'm lost as to what to do next. There is an upstairs bedroom that I cannot unlock too. Then there was a crack in the floor of the basement too that I'm not sure if I do something with that. Can anyone tell me what to do next?
This has been a thiefless weekend with getting stuck right before TTLG went down.

You also need a green key that is found in the Watch station. It's upstairs. You have to climb into the kitchen fireplace, climb over a divider and enter the room next door.
You get into the area you can see through the crack in the floor from another place. There's also a blue key that's found in the Sanctuary.
Once you have the coloured keys you need to head over to the Power Company and get in to turn off the power.
I have a rough, point-form walkthrough for this that I can send you if you'd like. Just email me or PM me your email address and I'll forward it on.

I wish I could remember more. I know the crack in the floor can be ignored. have you looked elsewhere in town. I know there are other places to go that will get you further. Hope this helps! Hope someone else pops in to nudge you a bit more.

I know that there places you can climb to, such as into the library room via window ledge. Do not grab the mirror or the mission will end. You will find information on that later. Just remember where you saw it. Its randomly placed everytime you play the mission.
Edit: Nightwalker beat me..lol

I don't think any fan mission has ever gotten me this completely stuck before. I want to finish it because it really is good, but... Nighwalker, you mentioned to:
Take the drunken guard’s bottle and he’ll run off. You’ll see a cut scene that shows him getting a gate opened then passing out in a doorway. That’s the Police Watch station.
I'm playing on normal and this didn't happen for me. The first thing that happens is I check into the hotel, then I use my room key on the correct room, then I frob the mirror and a lady tells me what to do, then I go down into the Inn where I can exit into the streets. I don't see a drunken guard with a bottle.

I don't see a drunken guard with a bottle.
You need to read the note near the Watch station's door.

Next to the mansion with the water fountain out front is a gate to the right that is shut. I can see a guard behind it a ways off but I cannot get through this gate. There is no note anywhere near this gate.
On the mansion there is an open window on the second level. I have tried so many times to go out this window and try to jump to the ledge so I could go around the top of this gate. I sure hope that is not the way to go because that jump from the open window is impossible. On the second level there is a locked bedroom that I cannot open. I'm sure if I could gain access to that bedroom that it would get me right over the guard that I can see from the locked gate.
I am so stuck on this mission. Can anyone get me going? I would really appreciate it.

Look for watchtower not far from the pub. There is a ladder you can climb in the rear of that tower. And...etc.

I sure hope that I am not supposed to make the jump from that ladder to the ledge of the building across from it. That jump is impossible for me. I spent so much time trying to make that jump and it never worked. I have tried that ladder so many times. Please tell me that's not the way to continue.

Just keep trying. Easy for me.

Ok, I finally made the jump to the ledge. I was able to make it to the sanctuary and now I have the blue key. The only problem I have now is finding the green key. It's the last one I need then I know exactly where to go to finish the mission. I guess I need to get into the watch station but I really do not see how. I do not see any way at into Clegg's City Watch. The door is locked. I cannot get into the open window next to the door. I read the note by the door and then I went back to the Inn and took the guard's bottle. The problem I have now is the cutscene. The guard stops right at the gate entrance and just wavers around while I am stuck up high and I can't move. The music stops and he never falls down, I am just stuck there in mid-air. I am about to give up on this one and I really don't want to. What can I do about this cutscene thing. Is this a bug? I really hate that my progress has stopped as I was so close to finishing. I guess I will have to delete this one.

Ok. If camvator don't work, there's another way in Clegg's City Watch.

Ok, I finally finished. That was a tough mission but well worth it. Thanks Clearing and Nightwalker. I found that balcony to jump to and then getting on the roof and I finally got the key I needed
Oh yeah, just one more question. Is the mirror always located in the same spot on Normal difficulty? If I play it again on Normal, will it be in that spot again?

No. Its location is random and difficulty level doesn't affect it.
