Help! Load Screen Freeze!

Wow I tryed everything everyone ever sugested and i have the same problem. I watch the movie but when it asks you to start a game, it goes to Load screen but simply FREEZES! Im Running on HP Pentium 4 3.2Ghz I have an Ati Radeon 2600HD graphics card, 512 RAM, Direct X 10 and plenty of space. Anyone have any suggestions, im so bummed this game has to act up on me.

Ever solve the problem? Here's one fix below. DX IW likes specific memory addresses to run in.

Initial Symptom: VIKTORIA ERROR - resolved when Deus Ex was placed in Windows XP mode in startup.

Persistent Symptom: Black Screen after "Start" button pressed in Deus Ex Invisible War
PC: HP Pavilion Windows Vista Personal 64
Video Card: NVidia GeForce 9800 GT
Direct X Version:11
Deus EX IW Settings: Running DX2.exe in Windows XP mode. Default on all others.
Analysis from Problem Files and Event Viewer: DX2MAIN.exe hangs, waiting for Elliottrician Direct.exe (apparently to end and vacate memory.

Discussion: Elliot Wave software installed and running - Elliot executable on startup and in memory may interfere with memory locations in DX IW startup requirements.

Resolution: Uninstalled, removed from memory Elliot software and Elliottrician Direct.exe running in memory. Reboot system, Deus Ex Invisible War started and now runs without incident.
