i hav installed tomb raider underworld,but while opening it display an error"failed to initilize Direct3D current setting".
my laptop configuration is
intel core duo 1.73 ghz,2GB RAM & my graphics is
NAME:ATI RAEDON XPRESS 1100
CHIP TYPE:ATI RAEDON XPRESS SERIES(0X5A62)
DAC TYPE:INTERNAL DAC(400MHZ).
wat can i do now?????

i cant afford another graphics card,
cant i play with the previous???/

It means your graphics card isn't good enough.

it means i hav to hack the regedit.exe and place a pixel shader2.0.isnt it....

It means you have to buy a new graphics card, or a new computer. Buying a console to play it on, or going to a friend's house to play it there.

TR:U was made for Shader Model 3, you can't modify a registry entry to make it into SM2.
