Hi - I used to really enjoy Tomb Raider and could do it all using the arrow pad. More recent versions require use of the analog stick. I find it is so sloppy and imprecise that I really don't do well. Are there any controllers that are better - or ones that can be adjusted to use the arrows instead of the analog stick.

Talking about TR:L, TR:A and TR:U?
On PC, Natively they read from the analog stick, but if you have one of the fancy "programmable" gamepads, that comes with support software that allows the gamepads programmable buttons, axes, etc. to be assigned to buttons, and if you *really* wanted to do that, it'd be your best bet, I would think.
I prefer keyboard + mouse in most other games, but TR:L-U have a bias for the analog-stick gamepad, and I don't think you're really going to do better off than with those controls. There isn't as great a need for precision, anyway. The right analog stick's more important than the left one, though.
Keyboard + mouse if you're really for the precision thing, though.

Yeah, I agree with RG. Use the camera to steer Lara, you can just push the left analog stick forward to keep running! :thumb:
The bike-parts can be tricky though, it needs a bit of practice yes. :)
Try to invert the x and y axis, I always do that.
