Screenshots are amazing. The visuals for this game are very exciting. I just hope this game manages to do better than a rental. And I really hope it has some replay value through the means of a possible multiplayer mode.

The details in the first pic are amazing. You can even see the design in the carpet, and the hair on that guy's stomach. The tattoos look really realistic too.

Great new screens. It looks like they might have fixed that minor clipping issue with Batman's shoulder coming a little through his cape. If that's so, there's not much left to make this perfect, visually!:)

I definitely love the one with Batman hanging overhead. That is sooo him. Great stuff.:thumb:

That's not saying much unfortunately. Hopefully it sets an actual standard for Batman games since, right now, there is none.

It sucks because I'm a huge Batman fan and a huge Gundam fan, and both have really horrible games (though Gundam has 2 good games in the mix of all the ****ty ones).

This had to happen one day or the other. After all Splintercell and Dark Knight share a lot of same features.I just hope that the developers can make this game as exciting and challenging as the S.c. games.

man! this is soooooo sick. Please eidos....it looks just amazing. Please take time with the gameplay. Iron out the story and make the game fun with variety but at the same time stick true to this dark graphic novel look. I love the cowl. I love the long ears. I was a batman fan since i was a kid 7 yrs old. No game has got me as excited as this one. Good cover system, good stealth like splinter cell, good graphics like gears of war (which u totally got covered and owned). THe gameplay is all that can make or break it. Also go for a good unpredictable story with depth like the dark knight movie. THe potential is here for an awsome king of games....take your time and do it right.

To date, I can't think of a single recent Batman game that's really good. Batman (1989) and Batman Returns on the Genesis were my favorites and Adventures of Batman and Robin on Super Nintendo was excellent as well.

Since then, the Batman games that have appeared are really flawed.

I can only hope that his one will really be good, gameplay-wise.

Lol. gargoyles on the inside of Arkham, I guess the building needs protection from the evil within it too.
Not too impressed with the logo design, it seems kinda corny and modern, but the way in which they go about putting it on different things and onto different surfaces (for example the police man's utility belt) is phenomenal.
Oh another nitpick is the flat plasma screens, it's a little too 2000' ish.
But then again these are just very VERY VERY little tiny nitpicks.

I bet Jim Lee is or was just knocked over in his chair when he saw these screenshots, especially Croc because he looks identical to when he gets locked up in Hush (although that might of been Blackgate).

Plus, those guards are just gonna turn around and switch it to the football game every chance they get. Lol, like Arkham isn't outmanned enough because of it's reputation.

Great looking in-game screens but I'll wait for the gameplay screens. :) We'll see how it will look like in the end. But so far it seems to be very promising.

Yeah I get what you mean. But this place is holding some of the most dangerous and mentally insane men EVER!!! I think it needs to have some advanced technology to keep everyone there....

seriously? i know it's not perfect but come on, all games have those mistakes we've come to expect it.

i know it's for the sake of gamplay reasons but it seems like a bad idea for a mental instuition (that has had a ridiculous history of patient escapes mind you *cough* Joker *cough*) to have fully automatic assault rifles? is it so hard to for arkham to only have tazers or bean bag shot guns? less fun yes, but more realistic.

i say give it a chance before you make quick assumptions and for the people screaming in anticipation like me over this game; don't set yourself up for dissapointment. after all, we've never really seen a truely amazing batman game before. [note: batman begins was not one of them people]

as much as i love the caped crusader it's very very hard to get past the idea of the flawed batman games in the past. all we can do now is hope eidos doesn't drop the ball on this one like how Activision dropped the ball on web of shadows, alot of hopes were on that game.

Harley Quinn is more of a psychopath and less funny in the comic world actually, so i'd say it will be a mix of the comic and TAS.
