Shiva Statues

Alright, well, as much as I hate to do this (I have NEVER cheated on a tomb raider game, but this isn't really a puzze, just a minor irratation.) when you have the stones (the ones that go into shiva's hands) then I believe you reposition the statues at the bottom. However, I was unsure how to figure this out until I came by this walkthrough:

Well, ok. But the "beams of light" are not showing for me. Nothing changed. Could someone give me some insight? Thanks. :)

once you install the gems into the lower arms of the big statue, then you raise the arms back up and the light should shine/reflect down to the floor. Then you need to position the two statues down there just right and the light will shine to the center gem and on to the statue on the bottom.
