Game freezes, wii - again even after power off

I am experiencing the game freezing, literally requiring pulling the power plug. It then proceeds to do it again after you work your way back to approx the same place - anyone else experiencing this? A

Any chance you know a fix?

Any help will be appreciated.

Game froze 3 times on me with the same symptoms you described....all in Valhalla, 3 different spots....and that's on PS3...
I think TRU has a bunch of issues and instead of delaying the game they released it anyways. ****
I never had to pull the power cord and re-boot my PS3 before and I play COD4 sometimes all night long!

Did it eventually stop freezing or did you have to stop playing the game.

I also NEVER have had to unplug my system before - even if previous versions of Tomb Raider (which I loved).

seriously dissapointed but am willing to try to figure out a way to muttle past it.

Some posts mentioned not 'walking' through walls and that might stop the freeze.

Yup..I simply avoided those areas myself after re-booting the game to be able to continue...This sux big time and I'm more than dis-appointed of the lack of quality control only to make big $$ and have it ready for the release date.
I remember almost every other TR was delayed, so they can fix problems upon selling it....this time they didn't....and the gamer pays the price! :mad2:

The games frozen twice for me in different spots, just before a cinematic and so I have to turn the console off, not unplugging though, but when i start it up again, it's perfectly fine. I don't get it.

That happend to me too.

I was on Amandas ship after the kraken room.
I was welding the door open, and it said checkpoint so I saved my game, because I didnt save in a long time.
But after I saved I accidently pressed the power button on the remote.
So I turned the Wii back on, but I realized I didn't have my guns.
When I ran into the room at the end of the hallway where the mercanary shoots the explosive cans and the ship blows up; it froze.
So I had to unplug the Wii over and over again.
But it never worked so I ended up starting a new game.
Then I didn't save there and it was fine.

So as a warning; DONT SAVE WHERE YOU WELD THE DOOR OPEN ON AMANDAS SHIP!

I have received underworld for christmas and am also experiencing the freezing problem right before Laura has to jump to get into the security area. The game freezes and I can only eject the cd but cannot start any other game or reset the console. I have to unplug the wii. very frustrating:mad2: :mad2: :mad2: Do I need to stare again or will another cd from say a video store help?
