How to jump so i can beat Rex and updates?

Hi all

Im a Lara fan from the PS1 days, i joined lara on the very first adventure!!! Awesome stuff, love her to bits!!!!!

How tho do i get her to jump out of the T-Rexs stampeed to kill him???

And are there any updates??

Im on the PC Version

The idea was to have the T-rex bash it's head into the spikes. Each time it does, it loses much of it's life. To do this you must perform the adrenaline dodge. Guns are drawn with one key and shoot with another, (very important).
Shoot at it until you enrage it and it will charge, The screen turns blurry, stop shooting but keep the guns drawn, press roll and a direction key, (usually to the side), two gray targets will come together and form a red one, you should hear a chime, at that second shoot one shot. If you miss the spikes, just repeat this and you will still kill it, it just takes a little longer.

Hey Bradley, nice to meet another TR-fan, welcome and enjoy your time here (I know I do! :D ).

Just follow Randy 54's explanation and you will do fine. I just wanted to add another tip. You can switch the Combat Mode (in Options) to Advanced Toggle (or Advanced Hold), so Lara keeps the guns drawn the whole time. (Makes it even easier)

I am really struggling with this!!

I can get her to "crouch" like prepare for the rex to start storming towards her but its what i do after that, i mean i press left or press and she starts crawling in stead of diving out of the way!!

Its driving me mad

Hmmmmmm, I don't know what exactly you are doing wrong, but you should do the AD like this:

Step 1: shoot the Rex untill it becomes enraged, you will know when he is, since the red bar will be full and he comes running at you and the screen will become blurry
Step 2: when the screen is blurry and he is close, press the crouch button AND one direction key (left or right is the easiest) AT THE SAME TIME
Step 3: two grey reticules will appear, wait till they become one and it turns red (you will also hear a sound), then SHOOT!!!
The energy of the Rex will drop. It goes a lot faster when you stand before the spiky things when he comes at you, cause he will crash into it and lose a third of his health.

Important:
DO NOT HOLSTER YOUR WEAPONS WHEN HE COMES AT YOU!! The easiest to make sure you don't, is to switch the combat mode to Advanced Toggle.
DON'T SHOOT TOO SOON!! (Not before the red reticule appears)

i cant seem to pass the stage where lara gets to room with arrows shooting out of the walls
then she passes them to get to a very big door then climbs on to the side and jumps on the mechanisms of the door and pulls it down and runs over to the over side and those the same but the door always remain shut,i do i open the door the right waym,friom tTR aniversary

Hiya Fempet, so you are stuck in the first level right?

You are supposed to hang from both mechanisms, first the one with the short path and then you have to take a longer path to get to the other one. But keep in mind, this is timed! When you pull the first mechanism, you will hear a sound (sort of drums, lol) and you must pull the other one BEFORE the sound stops AND step on the pressure plate in front of the door.
So pull both mechanisms and stand on the plate BEFORE the sound stops, and voilà, door open!

Keep trying, don't give up! :thumbsup:

You are in the Lost Valley, right? You can spin by just hanging form the pole and pressing forward, when she is spinning just press jump and she will jump off.
