Strange, New Save System?

When i go to save, it puts me at the beginning of the section? i had first saved my game in Thailand, at the Shiva Puzzle, and died in the lizard area. when i reloaded, it wasnt at the lizard area checkpoint? so i had to grapple the ring again after the switch, and go down into the area again.

then Thor's Bridge Puzzle was messed up cause i went to eat dinner last night so i saved it after the cutscene and exited. when i got back, it reset the puzzle!

any1 else find the save system crazy?

If you save after a checkpoint, the game will start back from that checkpoint, as it was in Anniversary and Legend :) . Be careful not to overwrite your savings and to mess up :) - I tell you because I did :p ...

Its actually pretty neat idea. Say you save with almost no health. You die and restart at the checkpoint closest to your save and with FULL health. I liked that.
