I'm glad that Eidos is releasing TRU for many platforms although I'm sure there will be many differences. The PS2 and PS3 versions can't be the same, that's for sure. I have PS2 and a PC that can play TRU, but not as smooth as needed to enjoy it to the full (as long as the Demo is concerned). So I'm thinking of a new console, like Xbox360 or PS3.
My question is whether the PS3 version will be better than the others, as PS3 is definately a much more powerful console. If so, would it be worth purchasing one? The price is very high, so is there going to be a reduction in its price, like Xbox360? Does anyone know?

I have a Ps2 a Ps3 and a PC. I will definately buy the PS3 version and I'm very sure that it's gonna worth the cost.My Pc has just the requirements that you need to play the game but still I perfer the Ps3 version..You won't stay disapointed if you buy it.I too was thinking the same thing.I was ready to buy the Xbox360 because of the cost but thankfully I didn't.Not that Xbox360 it's not good but as you said Ps3 is more powerful console.
If I were you I would buy the Ps3...as far as I know the game it's gonna be amazing on the Ps3 version but I also know that the Xbox360 version won't be bad at all. :D :D

 iv`e seen the ps2 version and it`s not a patch on the next gen console versions, the ps3 version will almost certainly be exactly the same as the 360 version so the choice of console is up to you.the 360 version will eventually have extra downloadable content via xbox live(2 new chapters 6 to 7 hours of extra playability)but can you trust it`s reliability(i have owned 3 of them and they all died on me,rrod).still on my first ps3 and it runs like a sewing machine.the choice as they say is yours.

PS3 version will be near identical to the 360 pretty much, also no,one game warrants a purchase of a $400 system, one game isn't worth that much, heck, one game isn't worth $199,which is the price of the 360.
Also no, Sony does not plan to reduce the price this holiday season on the PS3.
But if you have the money to get either of those, then just do what you wish and buy whichever is in your budget.
