I Am Stuck In The Hummer Room --please Help--greece Level

:confused: Hi Everybody, I am very new to this forum so I don't know how it works yet.
I hope that someone will pick up this message and help me.

I am playing Tomb Raider Anniversary on the PS3 (by using the ps2 game).

I am in the room with a big hummer (greece level) and a platform that should activate the hummer as you step on it.
When I step onto the platform nothing happen. Two of the statues are in position, one near the room with the electric ball and the other statue is on the side opposit the hummer.
UNFORTUNATELY I have saved the game at this point and I can not go forward or back.
Is there anyways I can bypass this room?
Or restart this room?

Okay, run and step on the button and then quickly jump out of the way before you get smashed. Turn around run and grab for the hammer, vault up to the top of it and then jump to the ledge area on you're RIGHT (jump to the left if you want to grab the ammo but you'll have to be quick or you'll have to jump back down and bring the hammer down again). Once you're up on that area, it should be a snap from there.

I have just tried stepping onto the platform and wait but the hummer did not move.

I don't know what to do now!!!

Have you just entered that area? If so, have you tried moving the big block on to the pressure pad to see if the hammer breaks it open? That's the first thing I always do in that room.

But beyond that, I wouldn't know what to suggest beyond standing on the pad that's supposed to activate the hammer and waiting. I'd even leave Lara standing there and let the hammer kill her, just to make sure everything's working.

If that doesn't help, and if you've not got another save, then you're stuck I'm afraid and you'll probably have to restart :(

I HAVE DECIDED TO PLAY THE GAME AGAIN AND YESTERDAY I GO TO THE SAME POINT AND EVERYTHING IS WORKING FINE.

Hammer, sorry it is really bugging me. HAMMER not HUMMER! It sounds weird... just correcting your english...
