View Full Version : A simple thank you thread!
Hi!
I know this thread isn't very usefull, but i just want to say:
Thanks so much CD and Eidos for releasing the PC Demo nearly a month before the game is released and for this great work. Very apreciated!
Well, you know, not many Game Demos are released before the game itself these days. :(
But the Tomb Raider Series isn't like anyone else, thanks for that!
And second i realy like the PC Demo. I like every Tomb Raider game... so great work.
Anyone else wants to thanks the developers? Heres your chance. Hope they are reading it. ^^

So yup, big thanks to CD/Eidos and lets try to keep the negativity out of this thread and leave it to the other 6-7 threads for that :rasp:

THANK YOU FOR MAKING A GAME I CAN PLAY!
after trying out crysis, i felt let down at the sheer req's of Crysis, which lead me to believe my computer was nothing. today, with the TR:U demo, i have regained my faith in my computer once again!
THANK YOU EIDOS AND CRYSTAL DYNAMICS!!!!

Sorry for my bad spelling and grammar eras not the best at writing but will do my best. Please don't say anything rude about my stuff her unless you understand and and have read the whole thang. Sorry but it is long. I just had to get it off my chest on how I felt.
Thanks,
Crystal Dynamics and Edison I know it has been hard to make TR games because they are like no other games. It is one of the best game ever. I love what you have done with TRU so far. I seen all of the videos that are out and they are so good. Although I have not played the demo I know that this will be a good game. You put a lot of hard work into this game and I can't wait for it to come out. I own a ps3 so I don't get to play the demo as long as you keep on releasing it on the Play Station system (PS3 will be nice since that is what I have) I will always buy TR games.:)
Sorry to say this but when you release TR Legend I was so glad that TR was back but, when I played it it was to easy almost all the traps was interactive cut scenes which I hated nothing was do it yourself. I was disappointed and not happy. I bought the game and bet it in 1 day and there was not a lot of animals to kill or any verity, lost of humans to kill which was a good thing. But, that was all. The game was way to easy puzzles and all. And story line I wished that there was more to it.:rasp:
Than TR Anniversary hit way better game still to easy but much better just not as good as the original number one TR game or even close to it but, still a big step up from Legend. But, Since you was new to TR games I had faith in you that you will make up for it in the next game which will be TR Underworld. On the videos it seems so that you have made up for it. But, I don't have the game yet not been release yet. Still have faith in you. I don't care about what people have said about the graphs TRU is a big step up from the old TRG graphs. I just hop you have great story line, lost of different verity animals and humans to kill all in one level and in all the rest of the games levels, lost of verity is what I want.:nut:
What I seen so far is absolutely beautiful please keep up the good work. I love what you are doing. Don't give up because I am rutting for you Crystal Dynamics and Edison. I believe that TRU will be a bit hit, Lara has her look back she looks like herself again although I love Legend Lara hair colorer and style a lot I will miss that a lot. Just remember lost of traps, humans, animals, puzzle solving, artifacts, etc... and everything else don't forget most import to me lost of levels that are long hard and changeling and good story line in the game will make for great TRG and other stuff to. Well let me wrap it all up. I am going crazy just waiting for TRU to come out. All and all I think it will be the best TRG you have done and will keep on improving.
Don't let those negative comments from other people get to you guys just remember listen to you fans but be carefully not everything they say will be good for the game but listen and try to improve always. But be carefull because only the people who been playing TRG from the very beginning know what TRG is all about. (That is how I fell and think)
Thanks for making TRG come back to life best of luck to you Crystal Dynamics and
Edison and everyone who is working on this game.

Ya I want to say thanks. I love TRU, although my Xbox broke, so it sucks I can't play TRU demo anymore but anyway I thought the controls were just fine. I always play like that. I love the graphic's great job there and the water was so real to swim in. Now I think I will buy the game for my PS2 this way if my Xbox breaks I wont have to worry.
I have no complaints, great game, can't wait to play the full version. Oh how I will miss the demo but soon I will have the full game. I'm getting the game for sure. Yea true I can't get the PC download to work and my Xbox is dead but I love the game, just have to wait, until game is released. I am counting the days...everyday...:D

Hurrah! A positive thread. Nice change from all the complaining.
I'd like to thank Crystal Dynamics once again for breathing life back into Tomb Raider and continuing to try their hardest to bring what the majority of fans want - an epic exploration experience. And that's exactly what I think they've got for us. :D

I am not what some would call a "gamer". I don't play anything except the TR series and maybe Wheel of Fortune with my husband.
I do work a lot with women of misfortune, battered and abused children. I find that this series gives hope to women (and everyone) that we can challenge ourselves mentally and physically. It's an inspiration to many. And although some people find their inspirations in real life heroes, most find their inspirations in thoughtless celebrities who make WAY too much money for what they do and rarely give back to the world that put them there. I find Lara to be one of the best inspirations, not just for her adventures and the fun of gaming, but for the love of bending the mind to think outside of the box, to challenge ourselves, to appreciate other cultures and history and to aspire to greater things than what our environment/society forces us to be. I think the entire franchise, including the films, is an excellent way to demonstrate to young girls that it's good to be smart, intelligent and still be fashionable and mysterious. I hope that this series continues to keep it's integrity and social responsibility beyond what it's doing now. I love it! ;)

Ok, wow. That's probably about the most impacting praise I have heard for Lara.
All I wanted to say was thanks for resurrecting my favourite video game character, that steps away from the meaty brute most action adventure games are centred around; a series that takes my love of archaeology and allows me to explore it; and gives me something to look forward to in the midst of sub par games that litter the market.
