Floating Diamonds

Whilst playing the demo, I found this using the sonar at the indicated place.

A close up indicates some sort of action is available, but they just disappear when I do so:

Could someone explain to me what these are? Did I find something cool?

Isn't that on the lower level - just where the tigers arrive - near the wall - the Jar is containing the "secret" it's that shape - looks like a jewel.

No. It's hard to see in the little pics, but the link shows them better.

They are in the air, about 3 times Lara's height above her, and in between the level she is standing and the monument on the other side of the large gap.

I hit A button but then the diamonds go away. but then if I look again the diamonds are still there, how do I get the diamonds. I pushed the A button and nothing happens.

Yep. It's a good name :)
Despite having a fast internet, it still always depends on the speed of the remote party. If they are being hammered/throttled - you will see the result.

Interesting - perhaps it's a debug item accidentally left in the game? If it were a secret, a special one that gave you the whole sonar map - this would be a crap implementation. :scratch:

Not likely, checkpoints are signified by the 'ding' sound, and there aren't any diamonds at the other checkpoints.
