Nobody could download it for hours. Probably it was pulled off. And people say one of the torrents is broken too, one bigfile has CRC error inside. :( Not an elegant way to release a demo. :(

I'm inside a firewall so noo access to torrents, and the link at file planet is completely bogus --
I try to download says I need to register -- I do, then got taken to a advertisement page with about 30 games on it -- none of them underworld.

I tried the original link again -- again -- just taken to the 30-game advertisement page -- no option to download underworld.:rasp: ****

Sorry to disappoint everyone but if your downloading the torrent might as well stop. I just finished downloading it myself. Ran it .. program started the extraction process...error comes up with a file is corrupt, and sure enough the bigfile.000 is bad fails CRC everytime. Tried to repair... no go there to. So I just wasted 4hrs+ downloading a useless torrent.

Also if you look at the torrents size its about 30mbs to small should be 1.45gb not 1.15gb

It hasn't been officially released by Eidos themselves yet. Keir said he would update us on when the demo was going to hit, so people are still waiting for the OFFICIAL word from him.

However TRC got it, they screwed it up and file planet, probably put it up too early and Eidos found out about it.

So the person from TRC that got it off FilePlanet made a torrent out of it and botched it all up. So it comes down to TRC screwing everything up

Limewire isn't the best one, sure it is good for other stuff but long files... never really tried. Try to use utorrents. It can make a 1GB download take about less than an hour.

Your understanding of Torrent needs an upgrade. When you go to any open source project web site and look at their downloads, you will ALWAYS find them use the Torrent option. Novell, RedHat, Debian, Ubuntu spread their Linux downloads via Torrent. There is nothing illegal about that.

Hey, it's not Eidos' fault that the demo is downloading poorly. I couldn't get it from fileplanet, tried Ausgamers and got it first attempt.

Unfortunately, my poor Inspiron 9400 doesn't play it too well (unless I turn everything off/down which makes it look average...) I got it to see what would happen, as I already have the X360 demo :)

But the fact that I can actually play it surprised me. Despite average graphics, it still ran.

Wow the demo looks so amazing :clap: I'm graphics cardless and I don't have a 360 so I can't play it... I'm even more excited for the game now! :D

i downloaded it, it downloaded good :D the only problem is that it says 'Failed to initialize Direct 3D with current settings' i don't understand :confused: my system requirements are all good :( can someone help me out.....
