What (In your opinion) is the coolest combat move Lara can do?

This is my first post... just getting the feel of things around here! :D

SO! What in your opinion, is the best combat move Lara can do? I can be in any version of the game, just put down whatever yours is!
Personally, mine is where you can use the grapple to pull enemies towards you, then kick yourself off of them (:

...wrong category. honestly, im so dopey sometimes :mad2:

Hmmm... the swan dive. It's classic. I realize it isn't combat, but it's still classic. If I had to pick a combat moves, I'm going to have to say when you jump off a bad guy's head and it goes into slow mo. That makes me happy.:o

I don't know if it can be considered a combat move, but when Lara starts swinging the Thor's hammer, great things happen to mercs :)

the stealth kill in AOD was cool too, although I don't remember using it much.

Crystal Dynamics took out my favorite combat move. The adrenaline dodge from Anniversary. The best, high action manuever in gaming today. The adrenaline dodge in Underworld is not fun at all, takes no skill.

I have to agree with Briek, I love jumping off people's heads and it going in slow-mo. The adrenaline dodge in Anniversary was pretty awesome too though...

TR:A's AD would be frustrating getting twice-owned by wolves... e.g. when making a wolf charge, and other wolf attacks Lara (unbalancing her), and before she corrects the first wolf attacks Lara giving out more damage.
TR:A's AD was great for taking out animals, but it seemed to be forced upon the player. In boss fights (other than the T-Rex..), the A-D was forced on players in order to pass, and with the higher calibre weapons (for which there was plenty of ammo), rage built up a little too fast, and it was either dodge or head-shoot once the animals did rage.
It would seem to me that TR:U's HS move requires a lot more skill than TR:A's headshot move would, because of the manual aiming. (It's fairly hard on PC, anyway).
It also seemed to be used just to make combat less frustrating, in that it was frustrating, so they added the AD to make it easy...
Apart from that, the AD in TR:A was damn good.

Fav. Combat move would probably be jumping + shooting... In TR2&3 it was great fun to jump + shoot charging at an enemy, (and then jump + roll + shoot once getting past him... if you did it you'll know what I mean).
Not quite a move, but I also loved standing on ledges and sniping at the animals/guys with baseball bats.. :cool:

yeah the classic run and jump over enemies and twist Lara mid jump so she landed behind them facing them and still shooting was very cool.

My fav combat move though for Underworld would have to be using Thor's hammer. I destroyed so many that stood in my way with that hammer haha. stupid mercs and thrall.

i like use thors hammer on mercanaries and watching them fly into the ocean..

i have the wii so they took away kicking and stuff, but if i could kick i would probably like that the most

4. Roundhouse kick
5. Handstand/flip on beam/pole

And all her other moves are also fantastic. :thumbsup:

Classics: roll, simple but so handy! :lol:
TRL: grappling enemies and kicking them, then shooting the heck out of them! (thanks omgitsjms19 for the reminder...), swan dive, continously tapping the roll button (and sometimes with the action button and jump button for even better sequences of moves)
TRA: AD, fantastic move and so effective! :D
