It does say that there is a doppelganger but if this game is basically based upon norse mythology then it would be known as a vardoger.

The vardøger or vardøgr is a spirit predecessor, from Norwegian folklore. Stories typically include instances that are nearly déjà vu in substance, but in reverse, where a spirit with the subject's footsteps, voice, scent, or appearance and overall demeanor precedes them in a location or activity, resulting in witnesses believing they've seen or heard the actual person, before the person physically arrives. This bears a subtle difference from a doppelgänger, with a less sinister connotation. It has been likened to being a phantom double, or form of bilocation.

This could explain why winston knew it was the real lara and zip didnt and kept on shooting at her.

The doppelganger in anniversary died but she might not have because if you look at natla she survived hot lava so why shouldnt the doppelganger be able to as they both are atlantean.

Oh and another think why did eric in the latest bts video talk about not just thor but also odin???

*Spoiler Alert* :p

Its not a doppelganger in the sense of copying laras moves, its more of imitating lara and I suggest you ask a mod to change the thread name, plently of people arent aware of it.

good point but i think if Natla was able to create a doppleganger the first time, why not a better one (hense the skin) i think her powers are much stronger and she created this new doppleganger which is able to do what it wants (under natla's orders of course)
