K&L was an awesome game but I feel there were some small problems that made it less enjoyable. So heres a list that I think what can be improved in the next game.

What Made K&L Awesome
1. I think that the Retomoto Tower was the best level in single player, the music and roping down the tower really added adrenaline and tension. Also the Tokyo Club was awesome because of the many A.I. civillians that were around.

2. Fragile Alliance, the idea of Fragile Alliance is awesome. I like the Idea of watching your back and stabing people in the back.

3. The commands buttons, I felt the command structure was great in single player was simple and effective. I wouldn't mess around with that. The only problem I had with the Friendly A.I. was the war level were each friendly A.I. 3.had a squad of soldiers that would get killed off easily.

Improvements
1. More Accurate weapons, I feel the inaccuracies of the guns hindered Fragile Alliance. When I wanted to backstab somebody it seemed that the bullets would go around the person.

2. Fix the scoring system in F.A. There were too many times when people would be cheating in F.A. alliance by killing their friends and killing you, and the players friends who became cops would help the player by killing you when you were a cop.

3. Being able to fight back in the van. When you get into the van and people start shooting it till it explodes, you should be able to defend yourself.

Additions

1. Make Fragile Alliance more tense, If you watch Beverly Hills CopII, Heat (which is were K&L got the inspiration), and Dark Knight (Which got inspiration from Heat) When they rob banks or do missions they are under a clock, and I think the more you waste time the more you have to deal with. Also you could have different guys do different jobs like cut or disable the alarm wire and drill through the vault doors and maybe another guy waiting in a getaway car.

2.Customization options, even though your under a mask, the more you rank up the cooler cloths you get like different masks such as balaclava or clown masks, suits etc.

3. More weapons

4. Four player co-op

This are just some ideas, if anybody wants to add on go ahead.

I think it's pretty much fine the way it is. although here's what I'd like to see in K&L 2

Single player

Not a prequel.

it should take place after the events in venezuela. it should start in south america. Kane and lynch should have to go back to the states for some reason. other locations i would like to see are thailand and the middle east

They should bring back shelley and thapa from the first one

Fragile Alliance

It should ship on day 1 with at least 8 new maps. Dlc should follow including remade ones.

Throw out the tru-skill rank system. everbody in the top 100 cheated to get there. frustrates me to no end. ruined the game. i hate it soo much that if kane and lynch 2 uses the same leveling system i'm not gonna buy it.why not have it based on money. ie the more money you bring out the more you rank up

If you host. make sure you can kick players out of the room

Those are my ideas

Kane & Lynch 2 will most certainly NOT be single player. Eidos has apparently shelled out money for the "Games for Windows" system and I'm pretty sure that they are gonna use it. Not to mention Fragile Alliance (One of the only real reasons for buying this game) is a fundamental part of the game experience if you ask me. Without it, Kane & Lynch has nothing really to separate it from everything else besides compelling characters.

There are only 3 things that would make Kane & Lynch a better game:

1. More control over your mercenaries. More equipment and weapon options for Fragile alliance. Hitman Blood Money had an amazing attachment system and K&L could take a nod from that. On that note, give us more guns... and more UNLOCKABLES. Unlockables are what keep people playing... give us sweet secret guns like 47's silverballer or what have you. I'll say it again Eidos... Give us a reason to keep playing this game once the main storyline is over

2. Reduce the difficulty a bit for Caffeine. The enemies in K&L have near perfect aim, and almost all the guns you have can't hit ****. Either balance the AI or balance the guns and make this game more enjoyable. And for the love of god, get rid of those stupid bullet-trails

3. Tighten up the gameplay. Fix the cover system. Make Fragile Alliance actually work. Fix the buggy escape van. Fix "Games for Windows". Add more levels. Add more guns. MORE MORE MORE MORE MORE. Kane & Lynch feels like an unfinished game. I wanna see more polish. Seriously Eidos, make this next K&L a winner, so I don't have to sound like an ******* when I recommend it to my friends.

Your right about the 'unlockables' We definitely need more weapons packs. for Fragile Alliance. It's a given that K&L 2 will have online Co-op. It will be better for it. having different characters for Fragile Alliance is a great idea. I just don't like the truskill ranking system. it would also be cool if you had a criminal profile page that your freinds could look at. kinda like the game stats page we have now

1) The levels that were "borrowing" from Michael Mann films mostly worked.

The levels that weren't were sort of horrible.

"Heat" the game is an awesome idea. Should have stuck with that and left out the Rambo bit.

2) Anti-heroes only work if they're still vaguely likeable.

You have to give K&L some redeeming features if you want the story to work.

I honestly hated both of them.

3) My guy aims like he has the DTs, especially with machineguns.

4) I felt like the tone of a lot of the fights was wrong. You're fighting hojillion mooks/cops all the time. Perhaps fewer enemies and more dangerous combat would give the fights more impact.

The pacing was also fairly wonky. The Tokyo club level and bank robbery were awesome because they actually had some.

Again, Heat good, Rambo bad.

I agree totally. I would like to see more smaller intense fights, rather than just wave and wave of enemies.

Not to stray off on topic here but I would really like to see more enemy groups you run into. Mowing down cop after nameless cop is okay, but it's not very interesting.

I think it'd be cool if you're running a bank heist, and on your way out the door you are ambushed by a rival gang, and are forced to adapt your strategy. If any of you have ever played Hitman Contracts, there was a scene at the Meat King's party where you have to go find some girl... only you discover she's been butchered by the Meat King's insane brother. He's got a little ****ed up shrine set up, it's just creepy as hell.

I like little scenes like that. What would happen if Kane & Lynch ran into a serial killer. Hell Lynch is practically a serial killer. I think there are a lot of avenues that they could take the story beyond just mowing down cop after cop.

Kane & Lynch are evil characters, yes, but I think it's interesting when they square off with different kinds of evil people... like Retomoto and his gang.

Kane and lynch are not like-able characters and I guess that's the point. these aren't Anti-Heroes. They're bad mofo's they have no redemption. they're dead men. and that's what's great about it. I think they definitely could explore How Crazy Lynch is and also how despicable Kane is in the next one
