Stuck in Temple of Khamoon please help!

I am currently in the Temple of Khamoon and i cant get out of a room. I'm in the room with the pool and the ledges (as refered to on the Tomb Raider Chronicles walkthrough) - where you have to open the trap doors from around the cat statue. I've gotten to the top and used the switch to open the trap doors but i can't climb out. I've jumped onto one of the doors and tried to jump to a horizontal bar but she doesn't make it. The guide mentions a gold ring to grapple to get to the aftifact but it isn't there and i thought that i may have to use that to get out. Any ideas on how to get out? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

BTW i'm playing this on 360 incase it may be different to the other platforms.

yea when your up there walk to the edge and she should grab on then go to the right I think and there should be a wall run to another ledge and the jump backwards and press A and you should grapple and if it doesn't work than I don't know what to tell you

I don't think she can hang from that platform. There also isn't any grapple rings to do a wall run with.

I'm not sure if you're where I think you are, but after you pull the switch, I think you just move to the right (on the same level as the switch) and there's a doorway to a platform that leads out to the cat room (you can either jump right into the pool below or use the grapple to work your way around to the artifact). This is on PS2 so I don't know if it's different on your system. Hope this helps.
