Yep, if you go towards the water fall, at the end of water fall, and jump back behind it, then you land behind the water, so swim up and then you are behind water fall and it ends the level, that was quick. Wow and I found it myself. Took 34 sec to complete. Done! I am still amazed at this glitch find. :nut:

Thatīs interesting, you could use it if you canīt beat the time trial. But do you jump behind the waterfall from the top?

Wow. Maybe someone could do this themselves and post a pic of where we're supposed to do it from?

I'll try to explain this, sorry I have no way of recording it. Stand way in the back, near the end of the water fall. Not in it. :lmao: Ya know where the latter is to go up, to put the first cog in, well don't go up the latter, just head all the way back, until you reach the last edge of the water fall without falling in, you be next to a rock, stand close to it and face water fall, then swan dive, and then land in the water and swim up, then you come up by the door to end level.

Just go in and walk past the first latter, where you put the cog in but don't go up the latter, just head straight back towards the end of the water fall, that all you have to do. (As far back as you can go without falling into the water)..You are going to be standing on the very edge of it, trying to jump back).
Go all the way as far as you can go, towards the end of water fall. (You will be on land when you do this)..Not in the water. Yea go back as far as you can without falling in, you will be very close to the water, then jump back, like inside of it, then you end up in the water under the water fall, now swim up and out by the door under the water. or maybe you jump side ways, to get back there.. but you will go behind the water fall if done right. It's really not a hard glitch like some glitches are hard, this one I found on my own and it's simple, it may take a few tries.

See the first picture you posted, you go all the way in the back, where you see brown wheel thing, (not the cog), the brown wooden wheel, then stand near the rock, or looks like a rock as close as you can to it, you never have to climb anything to get to it. When you first start the level, don't climb anything, just go where you see the brown wheel in the first picture, all the way, until you can't go back any more, you be stopped by rock, or wall stand close to it, now face water fall and swan dive, if done right you will be able to swim to the door and keep under water once you swan dive, then swim toward the door to end level, if done wrong try again. Hope this helps. :D
There be a few tiny rocks next you when you get next to the wall and you will be right up next to the water fall, face it, as close as you can get and swan dive, keep down and swim up. There be a rock wall, that won't let you get to the door to end level, you must be very close to it, now face water fall, and swan dive, you may hit the wall that is ok to do. Never climb anything, just go to the end of water fall, like in first picture.

So, here? and keep as close to the cliff face, and as close to the water as possible?

I stand closer but you can try it from there, swan dive and then keep under water, then swim up, if that don't work, then try standing closer to the wall, ya there. That is the place. And face water fall, sometimes my camera gets stuck if I don't make it. I can't turn all the way around but only sometimes that happens to me.

I did try *really* close to the wall.
And it did get my camera stuck once. I was confused...

Tell me: where's the fun in completing a level by skipping it?

*shrug* If you can play Lost Valley right through in 34 seconds, go for it. Just because there's the option of doing it, doesn't mean it has to be taken.

That happens, with the camera but you are doing it right anyway. I have already completed this time trial all the way through, more than once, so now I am finding new ways to solve the same puzzles. I can go through it and still beat the time trial if I wanted to. Without the glitch. Keep at it you will see how easy it is and how fast. When you jump swan dive, facing water fall, you will end up under the water. It's not hard to do. I don't know why the camera gets messed up sometimes but I work around it.

I also know a few short cuts in TRL, and a few glitches. Although before I found these short cuts and glitches I was forced to complete the whole thing on a time trial. :D

Not really. Just an easy time-trial pass. It's the poor-man's equivalent of downloading a save-game with the time trial completed... although in this way it's the player's achievements, not some savegame's.
Sort of like golden shotgun takes out combat, and walkthroughs take out puzzle, this sort of glitch takes out time trials.

When I look at it my question can be actualy be interpreted in two ways: either why should I do it, or why should you or enybody else do it. To the latter the timetrial thing is a good point....
But to me... why, I have played all the timetrials and runned out of time only once, which was in Bolivia Redux...
