I heard that Eidos was trying to make Deus Ex into a movie but what happened to it?

Hmm yea it might be a joke, I heard that a legend ofzelda movie was in the works but after a bit of researching...me posting on another board... it was discovered that it is probably a joke.

The Deus Ex movie was in talks over at Sony studios shortly after Spider-man. The script apparently wasn't very good, and they had some trouble attaching a director. Ultimately, plans fell through.
