Maybe once the glove conforms to the dimensions of Lara's hand, she can no longer remove the glove. If so, it's possible that the glove is driving Lara to find the hammer, and why nothing will stop Lara.

Although I believe that Lara will be able to remove the glove and I think that the reason nothing will stop Lara is because she desparately needs the hammer to get to paradise (avalon/any other name for it)

Well, I think Crystal Dynamics have developed a well structured storyline judging from what I've read and see. It does come across from a viewer's perspective that a lot of time has been put into developing the myth.

I'd like to think she plays an aid to Lara this time....although all of Lara's big enemies throwing themselves at her as she fights to achieve her goals does have a sense on grandeur IMO. Looks like the 'Lara against the world' theme CD talked about extends a lot further than we thought!
