CRC error message of doom!

okay so no matter what copy of tome raider anniversary I buy I cant install it,
i get the CRC error message
i have the latest drivers for everything
no viruses or spy ware
my avg was turned of during the install but still no luck

I bought the game brand new 5 minutes ago and it doesn't work

its so annoying
but no one knows how to fix the problem.....

any help please and thanks
ive tried copying all the files from the disk to my computer no luck
i tried clicking on the actual .exe file with no luck.....

Try installing the game on a friends computer. If it works something is wrong with your computer. If it doesn't well...obviously you have to get yet another copy.

Writing an email to eidos technical support also might help...

scroll down a bit, there you will find the CRC error.

If you have a CRC error that means that your DVD disc has a error or your DVD player cannot read the disc because it has a hardware error.

If you have another pc with a DVD player check your disc in that computer.
If the game installs on that computer then your DVD player in your Pc is defective.
