In that odd way that fiction often seems to predict reality, Mexican archaeologists have discovered what they believe to be the entrance tunnels to mythical Xibalba, the Mayan underworld- Portal to Xibalba found (http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/mexico_mayans_dc)

awesome, so like maybe this tomb raider is following a story that may be true, better and better. Cool discovery, wow, so cool. it'd be weird if it was true though. and scarey.

so lemme guess, then we find out that they found Charlie the Catfish, Kurtis, Janice, Pierre, Pierre, Lud****, Mathias, merc #655, Eckhart, Konstantin, police dude #89 and some random opera workers in there too?

According to WIKI it's actually at a place called coban... which already has a thriving tourist trade based on the fact. they, (the Mayans) also thought of the entrance to ANY cave or opening into the ground as an entrance to Xibalba... sounds like cashing in to me...
