What enemies are there and what monsters

from what i've seen, there will be sharks and panthers.. Oh yeah and a BIG octopus! :) <3

and i think that's all i've seen as far as enemies, unless anyone knows anything new?

These aren't enemies, to my understanding.

But I've read there'll be more animal enemies than human enemies. (I've seen screenshots with poachers), and some CD created animals (= strange monsters).

There's spiders, which you can step on!

I've seen a screenshot with one in...(well, was in because it was on the bottom of Lara's boot! :cool: )

Spiders (Mexico, Thailand)
Snakes (Mexico)
Men with guns (Mexico, Thailand)
Iguanas (Thailand)
Bats (Thailand)
Dinosaurs (?)
Tigers (Thailand)
Sharks (Mediterranean)
Bosses like the octopus

In Thailand there are also friendly animals who won't attack you: these are dolphins, fish and parrots, I don't know about the jellyfish: its main purpose is to guide you however...

... passive bio-luminescent jellyfish, strategically placed as hints (and an alternative source of light), yet if you touch one (or just get too close) it can sting you, causing damage ...

there will probably be various "friendly" AI on each of the levels and the suggestion is that once Lara goes beneath the surface, on her quests, she will encounter baddies unlike anything that you would find in any zoo ... :thumbsup:

A good thing about the enemies, is that if you're fighting off a human enemy along with an animal, the animal will not only attack you but they'll attack the other enemy as well. If that made sense.

makes perfect sense... it's about time the animals find a better tasting meal besides lara... but if i'm not mistaken didn't the raptors in TR3 attack the other soldiers?

Yeah, but you could "befriend" the soldiers by not shooting them. (Or just don't shoot anything and wait for the raptors to finish off the soldiers, and grab their MP5 ammo... :whistle:)

It's good though that the animals & poachers attack each other... (This makes me want a sniper rifle for Lara so I can just sit there and pick of whoever's winning).
