Is TR Underworld a continuation of TR Legend?

Yes it is! Crystal Dynamics is working on TR Underworld which will be released this Christmas. They are continuing the storyline from Legend, but haven't given any specifics at this moment. Make sure to keep checking out my TRU Section for the latest news and screenshots!

Am glad CD are carrying on TRL's storyline because i think its really interesting :o just needs abit more of excitment to it. :rolleyes:

I had the feeling it was anyway, just needed some proof :p at first, i thought there was only going to be questions answered from TRL because that was the rumor, but i knew it was a continuation because there'd be no point in answering questions from TRL, if they were supposedly two comepletely different stories. It wouldnt make any sense otherwise. :scratch:

I honestly didn't know what they were doing, in the things I have read all it says is stuff about Thor with no mention of the mother..

I was thinking the fans aren't just going to let them get away with ignoring the questions Legend brought up.

So now I am feeling relieved....phew

I just happened to see this post -- and I've gone and edited my answer on the page you're referring to. When I answered this question that's what I was told, but now Eidos seems to be very quiet about the storyline, so I am in the dark too I'm afraid!

If you did you would have read the following.......

(Note: Its been a while since I posted my answer to this question, and since then Eidos has gotten a little more vague with the storyline. Right now I cannot confirm that Underworld is in fact a continuation as they've gotten very "hush hush" about it. Sorry I cannot provide any further information!)


Underworld WILL be answering questions the Legend & even Anniversary brought forth, but it's a story in its own right now.
I will provide the link for those who are still skeptical.

is the most revealing information to date about the connection between Legend and Underworld ...

... this was added to the warehouse today. I don't know how I overlooked placing it in the warehouse before ... :o

... and there's also this: the released Underworld synopsis (http://www.tombraider.com/server.php?show=ConBlogEntry.8), which suggests an independent storyline.
Combined with the previous information, Underworld appears to be a "stand-alone" story that will nonetheless carry forward elements from TRL/TRA.
