I doubt Natla is coming back. TRA was a remake of TR1 to mark the 10 year Anniversary of Lara Croft and the Tomb Raider series. Technically, the events in TRA were from 10 years ago, lol, although there were tiny clues that tied into the Avalon/King Arthur tale. Still, Natla may or may not be featured in TRU. I'm just glad Zip and Allister are. They made Legend entertaining.

Yeah I liked Zip & Alister.
But I'm willing to bet Natla will be feature in TRU.
Crates in Legend were marked Natla Technolgies.
And this was before news of Anniversary was even leaked.
And TRU, is game that answers questions Legend brought up, hopefully the Natla one.

I really think she's an awesome character.... she won me over in Anniversary especially during the screen when Natla tries to convince Lara to accept immortality, and work with her.
She was in full queen attire.
I love the person who does her voice in Anniversary, it's really fitting.

Natla's voice was better in the first game. Natla "looked" (with those graphics it was a litlle difficult, but at least she looked) better, younger and much more beautiful.

What's up with her nails? Manicure anyone? Cruela de Ville blonde look-a-like? And when she became a monster.. that was the most beautiful part of the game.. She was so beautiful:D

The IMDB is hardly a reliable source and tombraiderchronicles.com never said any such thing, a magazine scan posted on their forum mentioned Amanda and Rutland looking for Natla. Considering Rutland is dead and Amanda is unlikely to be feeling particularly helpful, how likely is it the magazine is going to be right?

Natla was mentioned in the choir of the main theme, that l would believe. :p

Natla bores me. She was epic the first time around in Tomb Raider 1, but she's worn out her welcome. It would be great to have her return in the final Tomb Raider game to bring the franchise to a full circle, but as for Underworld, I'd like a new baddie.

I'm actually growing on the idea of Natla returning in TRU now. I don't think it's gonna happen and i don't think she would be able to kill Lara. I want Natla to return so that Lara can kick her ass all the way back to the ruins of Atlantis where she belongs, just so i don't have to listen to certain ppl banging on about her anymore. I like Natla, she was the original big bad for TR and she was great at it. She was even better in TRA but I'm just so sick of hearing her name at this point, really.

l look forward to seeing Natla return, l always thought there was more to her story and her fall from the lofty heights, wanting her people to survive hardly makes her a villain.

Aussie culture suffers from a tall poppy syndrome, l never noticed this trait in myself till l played TRA, l would really like to see Natla have her revenge on Tihocan, l do not believe he is as perfect as he seems to be, who made him judge, jury and executioner? Probably l will not get my wish, but l would still like the girls to get a chance to fight together.

Eidos, not CD, owns all rights to the Tomb Raider franchise, so what they say goes when it comes to the direction the games take, irrespective of what CD might want to do. So there will be Tomb Raider games until they stop making a profit, and I can't see that happening anytime soon.

Resident Evil isn't the best comparison since Capcom is the rehash champ.

I think CD is capable of having the character return without rehashing the TR1/A story. Simply having Natla return isn't inherently good or bad, It's how she returns and fits into the storyline that will make all the difference.

Short answer? No! Nobody knows if she will be returning as of yet. CD have not confirmed anyone but Lara as a returning character at the moment- which is kind of a given anyway!

I couldn't agree more. I hope that there is an amazing new villain. I'd absolutely love to see Lara's equal. Natla's cool, so is Sophia, but a new villain would be cool. I would most like a new female villain. I hope she's every bit as beautiful and dangerous as Lara. That would be amazing!!!:D

allright, weird thought i know but i just realised that there are a lot of themes similar in underworld and buffy, buffy has to defeat the the god glory and they found that the only way to kill a god is to use the weapon of a god. they use a giant hammer with mystical powers from another dimension and it destroys everything it touches. while buffy and glory are fighting she gets her with the hammer and she changes into her mortal self, a mortal, who is then swiftly killed. think of amanda being the mortal half and natla being the god, they each have their bodys, but they switch. maybe natla was in that funky stone in praiso (or however you spell it)or is possessed and is unleashed. in buffy, the only way that glory can return to her own dimension (where she ruled with 2 other gods) is to break down the walls of reality and the world will collapse. like the theory of undieworld. one of buffys friends turns on her and sacrifices something she loves and boy is she pissed. very strangely connected, might you think.

I don't think she's looking for the Scion. I'm pretty sure she destroyed it. If she's looking for anything, she's looking for a new remnant of ATLANTIS.
