I heard that demo versions codes are entirely different from the finished products (built separately). Thus, a lot of developers don't like to build demo.
I'd rather let the developer focus on improving/debugging the final product than building the demo version...

But if they already planned for a demo. I'll definitely get it. :D

As far as l know nothing is known other than we will get one, most likely just before the game is released, which is November.

Aye, I agree. If you reflect on when the demos for Anniversary and Legend were released, you would note that they are released round about a week prior to the release date. However, this is only a logical assumption rather than fact.

The PS2 demo for legend came out about 2-3 months before the game itself. I don't remeber there being a PS version for TRA.

I can't wait for the demo. Although I don't really want the demo to be so late in the game, I am dying to play the Mexico level. The tidbit we saw in the Beneath the Surface trailer looked fantastic.

I think around the end of September would be a good time for a demo release. I would then play it to death for a month then rest my hand for a month before the full game gets released. :D

"The demo" is probably a reference to the demonstration she is being shown.

The press has so far seen demo's of three levels, Southern Mexico, Mediterranean and Thailand, that is nothing to do with the demo the fans will get to play. We have heard several times in the last month there will be a demo released before the game is released, so you are just going to have wait and see what it is and when it gets released.

i aint downloading no demo, it'll spoil the surprise, i am going to wait for the whole game, its best to wait than to be on the edge of biting your nails off:lol: so i'm going to wait until the actual thing comes out, its a waste of space for me, i suggest most of you should wait, you'll regret it, when you get the game you'll be like, oh, i know what to do here, and then it'll spoil it so i don't think eidos should make a demo. but we all have different opinions.

dude, that was posted in February 2008, it is now July 2008...nearly August...

I know -.- but think the demo is going to be Mexico anyway.. Why should they change it? That's probably why they started making Mexico, 'cause it had to be finished a bit earlier than the other levels. Since the first screenshots were from Mexico, I'm pretty sure, that it was the first level they were working on.



And I agree with tombraidergal, I aint downloading te demo either. I will enjoy playing Mexico when I've reached that level in the real game ;)

l will download it, l am just not playing it, l have not yet played the demo's for Legend and TRA either, but one day l might get curious and see if there was anything different in there. l was real disappointed the TRA XBox360 demo was no longer available, since l have not got that version yet and wanted to see what it looked like.
