I have just made it to the Atlas Shrine. I am having trouble when you turn the mechanism in order for the two floor sections to close the gap. It doesn't appear that the floor sections open up enough. And, when you do try to jump, she stops at the ledge, which does not give enough time to even jump before the other side retracts. Is there something I am missing or doing wrong? Please help if you can..:mad2: :(

Grab the mechanism and rotate it to extend two stone platforms above the pit, which will help you get across. its simple:D let me know if it fails

I'm not sure what you mean Trish :scratch:

Are you turning the wheel all the way? I think you have to turn it nearly two full rotations to close the gap completely (so that he stone covers meet in the middle). If you are, then are you jumping early enough when you run on to the covers as they retract? Lara will teeter and wobble on the edge if you don't jump soon enough and that can mess up your attempt.

Thanks guys...I wasn't turning the wheel enough, but I finally made it. Didn't realize you had to use all of the directional keys to make a full turn. It really was simple. I have now made it to the Shrine to Damocles. Thanks again...;) :thumbsup:

yh i found it weird that you had to use all those directions... but it was a bit obvious :D
