Can you finish Deus ex on realistic, with only a pistol, a baton and no skill/augmentations in less than ten hours with no saves except for when you go away from your PC?

No cheats of course.. No exploits either (like throwing a gas grenade to open Unatco HQ).. You must finish the main quests!! Have fun!!

Sure you can! Sit down in a nice comfy couch, dim the lights, put on a nice CD (might I suggest the Serenity soundtrack?), close your eyes, and play it through from memory!

Of course you will have had to have fininshed the game at least once already...

Ok, lets see. I have once finished Deus Ex on realistic in 3hr 45min but I used weapons and augs. It's not speed-gaming potential becasue the deus ex record for that is like an hour or something stupid.

Someone on Planet Deus Ex has probably done it already. Those guys love challenge runs...XD There's a 50+ page thread on no-item runs over there.

That's probably the most I can do. It's not like one necessarily needs weapons to get through quick, however, it seems like all this "fastest time" crap is ridiculous. DX is not the sort of game you can just rush through. It's just way too easy to miss everything that way, I think.
